The giant bowl of sampler is the B1 and it’s also the item that‘s flooding all over Instagram. You get to sample everything with it - special vermicelli with lemongrass, grilled pork, pork patty, spring rolls, and shredded pork - and you get a pretty big portion as well. My favourite was the spring roll. Other than the shredded pork, all other proteins were just a bit overcooked to my liking. As for the pho, it meets the standard.

Overall, everything was well priced with decent quality.

I’d say if you are in the area, then go for it but otherwise don’t purposely make a trip for it 😅 but if you are there, make sure you order the spring rolls!

This has been on my radar for quite some time, and i'm glad I was in the area to try this out. The staff said the matcha latte is made with their renowned cereal milk. I've never heard of that before... didn't know cereal milk was a thing. She was right though. The cereal flavor left a good distinct flavor that complimented well with the matcha. The cake was soft and moist. It went well with the mochi and black sugar syrup, but the hojicha flavor wasn't very noticeable. My asian friends will love their cakes as it's not very sweet.

Just a friendly side note, it is a bit pricy. The whole package is like $12-15, but my friend and I liked it enough and would both come back. The taro milk looks tasty 🥰

FYI - they also sell customized mousse cake or fondant cakes.

Brutal review alert 🚨:

we ordered a bbq combo and a 1/2 lb brisket and here's my take:

  • Ribs - dry

  • Pulled pork - ridiculously dry

  • Shrimp - not a fan of frozen shrimp..

  • Brisket - good; it's fatty, it's moist and tender

  • Corn bread - not crumbly enough

  • Potato salad - needs more tang

  • Slaw - I mean how do u screw up a slaw? so 👏🏼👏🏼

The server checked up on us and we gave our honest opinion n we told her that the pulled pork was too dry. her response was that the (dry) pulled pork is meant to be dipped with the bbq sauce.

In that case, we each need a 0.5 liter bottle of bbq sauce please!

They ended up giving us a big piece of their homemade peach pie (off from the menu) as an in house complimentary. It's very nice of them but I really don't think we will ever come back or would visit their other locations. They have several locations across of lower mainland and another location in Kelowna.

It's kinda sad when my homemade “bbq” ribs can be fall off the bone tender... or when u prefer Costco packaged bbq ribs over this.. But honestly speaking, their quality are much like franchise food - such as subway or like McDonalds. So don't expect much unless you are expecting to come here to get fast food items.
