This is another family favourite of ours. It is located in Kowloon city near Kai Tak. Normally we would stuff our face at Ruamjai Thai Restaurant (同心泰國菜館) and immediately, we would head over to this dessert store. They serve traditional Chinese desserts and I really think they have over 100 options. They offer so many choices and they are so good !

This is one of my family favourite restaurant here! Their garlic bread with curry dip is the bomb! It's so good that as soon as it arrived, it went like hot cakes. That’s why I didn't even have a chance to grab a picture of it. Their roasted chicken, shrimp sashimi, pad thai noodles, pork neck, papaya salads, grapefruit salad, and tong yum soup are all our usual orders as well. 🥰 Their price is so reasonable too!

Ingredients

Eggplant x1

2 tbs miso

2 tsp mirin

1/2 tsp sugar

1 tsp soy sauce

1 tsp sake

Procedure:

1.) Skin eggplant in a strip fashion. Then cut it into small chunks.

2.) Mix all wet ingredient together and spread miso paste generously onto eggplants. (If the miso paste is too thick, add a bit more mirin to thin it out)

3.) Bake at 400 degrees for about 10 to 15 mins, or until eggplants are cooked through and the miso turns into a crusty paste.
